SCHOOL FEES:
We would like to remind you that your fees must be paid before or on the 3rd of each month (even during holidays). Please make sure that your child’s account is up to date. All fees need to be up to date every month.
EXAM TIME TABLE:
All learners did receive the exam time table for June. Make sure you help your child to set up a study time table. There will be no extra mural activities during the exam time. All the extra mural activities will stop the end of May.
The next letter will have all the exam info and also times for the June exam.
CELL PHONES:
This has become a big problem worldwide. Learners on their phone 24/7. They are losing their communication skills, because they don’t have proper conversations anymore. They are damaging their eyes and ears (loud music for too long using earphones) and many more disadvantages. Then there is the dark world of pornography, bullying, etc. You as parent must please take your child’s phone and go through it. Make sure your child is not busy with conversations that can lead to damaging behaviour. Learners are using snap chat, whatsapp, and many more to chat. So, make sure you check everything. The parent is still responsible for everything the child says or show on the cell phone. Please make sure your child understands the consequences of using a cell phone. The school will not take any responsibility for any problems that might occur after or during conversations with friends. It is not our responsibility to check the phones, but the parent’s. We can’t spend hours to investigate conversations or photos that has been send around. The parents need to speak to their children about the using of a cell phone.
No cell phones may be used during school time. It will be confiscated and locked up.
GRADE R COMPULSORY AS FROM JANUARY 2025:
As announced by the Education Department earlier grade R will now be compulsory for all learners.
Because the law has changed, make sure your child is enrolled for grade R.
