SCHOOL PHOTO:
Just a reminder that the last day to place your order will be on the 29th of February 2024. We do ask that you put the correct amount of money for the order in an envelope with the order form inside with the money.
SCHOOL FEES:
It is almost the end of term 1/2024. Time flies and we still have a lot to do. This is just a friendly reminder to make sure that your school fees are up to date. The school will be closing on the 20th of March and then your fees for term 1 must be paid in full. April’s school fees must be paid before or on the 3rd of April 2024.
PERSONAL INFORMATION:
We are experiencing problems when trying to get hold of parents. Many cell phone numbers do not exist anymore or is answered by a person that doesn’t have any relation with the child. This is extremely irresponsible, because when a child is ill or there is another emergency, we can’t get hold of any parent. If your details changed since you have completed the application form for 2024, please send your updated details via email, with the child’s name, surname and class ASAP.

SOCIAL MEDIA:
Learners are not aware of all the dangers that social media bring. They are quick to engage on social media, but the consequences can be fatal.
Parents, please talk to your child not to send messages or bad-mouthing people or places on social media. It is a very distasteful and can blow up in your face, with severe consequences for child and parents. Many learners don’t realize the impact that social media has on them and most of the time a negative impact and influence. Parents need to check the Childrens’ phones regularly to make sure they are not involved in stuff that will harm them or open themselves up to very bad comments.
We need to go back to family time without the phone or television. Families need to re-connect and share the day’s happenings and just relax together to make the bond as a family stronger.
