NEWSLETTER 6 | TERM 1 – 2023

Good day

SCHOOL FEES:

It is important to make sure that your school fees are paid before or on the 3rd of each month.  If you receive a statement, check it and if there are any problems please send a detailed email to fees@cvc.africa for attention Heidi vd Merwe.

Make sure you use the correct family code when paying your child’s school fees.

If you don’t use a family code as reference, we can’t allocate the money to your child’s account.  Learner accounts that are already in arrears did receive letters and will be handed over.  Such learners space will be cancelled as from the end of term 1/2023.

DISCIPLINE:

We are experiencing some problems with certain learners.  We have already send letters home to these individual learners that are not behaving or causing problems in class and on the bus.  We are not going to tolerate any discipline problems.  Learners who do not obey will not have space from term 2.  We are not going to jeopardize other learners or teachers because of unruly learners.

BUSES:

It is so sad to write this, but it must be said.  There are learners that vandalize the buses when travelling on it mornings and afternoons.  They tear or cut the seats; they break the seats.  We have spoken to all learners and these individuals but still it happens.  WHY???????  What are they achieving by doing this??????

We are holding parents now responsible for the behaviour of their children.  It can’t go on like this.  We have taken some learner off the bus already.

LATE COMING:

We are still experiencing many learners coming late for school.  We are keeping them in the waiting area until end of period one, which means they lose a lot of work that day.  Learners will be given demerits for coming late and just remember that if there is an outing, learner with more than a certain number of demerits will not be allowed to go on the outing.

When a test is written the first period, your child will then not be able to write if they are late or will not be given extra time.  This will have a huge influence on your child’s academic performance in that specific subject.

So please make sure that your child is NOT LATE FOR SCHOOL.

Regards
