NEWSLETTER 4 | TERM 1 – 2018

Good Day

SCHOOL FEES:

All school fees for March 2018 must be paid on or before the 3rd of March 2018.  Make sure that you are using the correct family code when you are doing your payment.

The accounts that are in arrears will be handed over for collection to Prosperitas.   Unfortunately we can’t run the school sufficiently if all parents are not paying their monthly school fees promptly.  Learner’s that are owing fees will not be able to make use of the free bus transport.  These parents need to transport their kids themselves every morning and afternoon.

THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE PARENTS THAT PAY THEIR FEES PROMPTLY.  We really appreciate it very much

BUSES:

We hope and trust that you have spoken to your child about the situation mentioned in the previous letter about the vandalism of other people’s property.  We then therefore believe that all learners will obey all the bus rules every day.  We will not tolerate any bad behaviour or damages caused by learners anymore.  Learners found guilty will be put off the bus immediately and WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE USE OF THE BUS TRANSPORT AGAIN.

SCHOOL CLOSING DATE FOR TERM 1:

Charlton Vos College will be closing the 20th of March 2018 for term 1.  Please inform the own transport of this date.

GENERAL:

In all the years Charlton Vos College has never had so many learners throwing papers down during breaktime.  Our premises were always squeaky clean, but since the beginning of 2018 our kids are really leaving the playground in a messy way.  We have ample dustbins all over the premises, but still they don’t throw the papers in the dustbin, they just throw in where they stand or sit.  It takes 3 groundsmen a very long time to pick up papers.  That is not there job to pick up after learners.  Learners need to know to throw rubbish in the dustbin.

We have warned them several times about this and now we will be closing the tuck shop for one day.  They will continue with school during break time.  They will be given the opportunity to make use of the bathroom and to refresh themselves and then back to class again.  We cannot believe that our kids are not proud enough to keep the school clean!!!!!!!!

Learners’ with behaviour or any other serious problems will not be registered for 2019.  We will not have our learners and teachers be subjected to any behavioural problems or lies that were told to disgruntle any teacher or staff member.  Such parents will be informed by the end of the first term so that they will have enough time to enrol at another school for 2019.

Yours sincerely,

Mr. JS Diedericks
