NEWSLETTER 32 | TERM 4 – 2022

Good day

It is the time of the year when we need to wrap up many things before the last day of school.  Exam is an important part of the year.  That is when we can see what the learner knows and how much effort they have put into the year.

On the topic of exam, we really ask the parents to take our hands and make sure your child is thoroughly prepared for every paper.  Sit with them if necessary and make sure they study.  Ask them questions about the work, get old papers, extra worksheets to help them to remember the work. 

We would like every learner to PASS ON THEIR OWN.  A pass is not a pass if your child was progressed!!!!!  How is such a child going to cope in the next grade and further if they couldn’t even pass on their own???  That is the reason why parents need to make sure their children are studying very hard for the exam.

Charlton Vos is not going to lower our standard at all, in fact we will be raising our standard next year again.  We believe that we have the cream of the crop at our school and therefore we need excellent results from each one of our learners.

We want to send top achievers into the adult world, the working world.  We know that our learners will make a success of their lives if we as school and parents take hands and work together.  That is why it is so important to have disciplined learners at school. 

Our teachers are working extremely hard to help every learner achieve his or her goal in life. 

EXAM TIME TABLES:

All learners did receive the exam time table and the scope for every subject.  Ask your child for the time table and start preparations.  Make sure they study everything like given in the scope.

SCHOOL FEES:

All school fees for the year need to be paid up by the 3^rd of November 2022.  If you have paid in full for the year, we would like to thank you for that.  But unfortunately, there are accounts that are still in arrears that will be handed over and the space will be cancelled immediately.  To avoid that your child’s space is cancelled immediately bring the account up to date.

All parents did receive an account.  If you have any queries on the account, contact me Heidi vd Merwe ASAP and don’t wait until the reports need to go out.  You can see now if there are a problem with your account.  You can also email her at fees@cvc.africa to sort out a problem on the account.  DON’T WAIT UNTIL LATER, DO IT NOW TO AVOID ANY PROBLEMS.  Learners will come with the bus on the 2^nd of December to fetch their reports from school.  They will be leaving from school at 9h30 to be dropped off again.  Make the necessary arrangements that there will be someone at the drop off to get your child.

Accounts that are handed over will have to fetch the report from the debt collectors and not from school.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Dates for 2023 subject to change.  Last letter for 2022 will have the confirmed dates if it changes.
