NEWSLETTER 3 | TERM 1 – 2019

Good day

Please make sure that your child is wearing the correct uniform.  It is available at Silver Cross, Madelief Centre, Pretoria-North.  For PT – Physical Training – they have to wear the Vossie black short with the PT golf shirt.  The school’s PT tracksuit pant is also available from Silver Cross.  No other tracksuit pant will be allowed, so please make sure you buy the correct PT uniform.  They are only allowed to wear the PT uniform when the teacher tells them they will be doing exercises outside.

When a learner is not dressed correctly, such learner’s parent will be contacted to bring the correct uniform.  We will not tolerate any incorrect uniform.

High School learners can wear the school Blazers, but they must wear WINTER UNIFORM if they wear the Blazer to school.  It is not worn with Summer Uniform.

All learners will receive an order form for the school photos on Tuesday 5 February 2019.  Please place your order and send the order form with the money (in an envelope) back to school.

Final date for photo orders will be given through in next letter.

February 2019’s school fees must be paid by the 3rd of February 2019.  We do ask that you do so promptly.  All learners did receive an account on Friday 25 January 2019.  Accounts that are in arrears will be handed over for collection.

GRADE 8 & 9:
The grade 8 & 9 learners will be attending a day camp on the 1st of February 2019.  The camp will be held at Avenue on Iris (opposite the school).  Each grade 8 & 9 learner already received a letter concerning the day camp.  If you didn’t send back the tear-off slip, do so before or on the 28th of January 2019.

Belgium College visited our school and had a presentation for the grade 12 learners.  Hope and trust that it helped them on their future decisions.

This is an exhibition for the grade 12 learners that will take place on the 5th of February at school.  They speak to them about career choices and the different institutions they can apply with.

Yours sincerely,

Mr. JS Diedericks
(Operational Principal)
