Good day
IMPORTANT EXAM INFORMATION FOR HIGH SCHOOL:
Exams for grade 8 – 11 will commence on the 19th of October 2020. Learners will not be working on the groups for exams but different grades as per exam time table. Please make sure you check the exam time table so that your child will be at school to write on that specific day.
Exam will continue until the end of November 2020.
SCHOOL FEES:
This is just a friendly reminder that all school fees need to be up to date. October 2020 fees had to be paid by the 3rd of October and November 2020 fees must be paid by the 3rd of November. If you are not certain about your account, please feel free to email Me. Heidi van der Merwe at fees@cvc.africa . The year is at its end and we also need to finalize space and accounts for 2021.
URGENT: Parents that use a banking app for payment must make sure the references are correct. “My Reference” is what reflects on your statement. AND “Their Reference” or “Beneficiary reference” is what reflects on our school statement. If you are not sure, please contact your bank for assistance.
We receive many payments with incorrect references that can’t be allocated to any learner.
MENTIONED IN PREVIOUS LETTER: END OF THE YEAR ARRANGEMENTS:
The end of the year is approaching very fast now. There are still some parents that didn’t bring their accounts up to date with the amount outstanding yet. Due to the fact that we will not be able to have all the parents owing to come to school and make the final payment in November/December to collect the report, all fees must be paid up before the 3rd of November 2020. If your account is still in arrears after the 3rd of November 2020, your account will be handed over and you will have to collect your child’s report from the attorneys in Pretoria-North. So we do ask that you make sure that your account is settled in full by the 3rd of November 2020 when November 2020’s school fees must be paid.
Please send a mail to fees@cvc.africa for attention Heidi vd Merwe if you have any queries relating to your account. Make sure your use your child’s account number as reference when sending a mail.
MENTIONED IN PREVIOUS LETTER: LOCKDOWN LEARNERS:
Most of our learners are back and we do everything possible to keep it safe for everybody. There are still a few learners not back yet. Those learners should now either be:
- Registered for home schooling OR
- Space cancelled at Charlton Vos College OR
- No lockdown learning from home will take place. All learners should be back at school and do their final assessments at school.
We need to do assessment with all learners now. A learner who is not back yet will not be able to pass the end of the year.
MENTIONED IN PREVIOUS LETTERS AND SMS WAS SEND OUT: LEARNERS MAKING USE OF OWN TRANSPORT:
It is the rainy season. Learners that are not making use of the bus, need to bring an umbrella or rain coat to school. When school is out, learners waiting for own transport in the Covid-19 waiting area (social distance must be adhere to all the time), will be waiting in the open. So if it rains OR if the sun is shining they will have to stand under their own umbrella and wait for their transport. We do ask that you make sure you are picking up your child directly after school is out, to avoid that your child is standing in the rain waiting for you. Please remember that we are not responsible for your child after school is out. We try our best to accommodate parents and learners after school, but it is not our responsibility. Please make sure you are here when school is out to take your child immediately, to avoid them sitting in the sun or in the rain.
If you would like your child to make use of the bus, please contact Osiame on 0790871672. All measures are taken to make sure that our learners and staff will remain safe.
