Good day
The term is almost at its end and the exams are around the corner.
SCHOOL FEES:
The year is almost at its end and that is also an indication that school fees for the year must almost be paid up. Only November school fees must still be paid.
October
2019’s school fees and re-registration fee for 2020 had to be paid already. If you are in arrears you need to pay all the
outstanding fees ASAP.
THANK YOU to all the parents that pay their monthly fees on time. We really appreciate it. We also know that some parents are going
through rough times but still their fees are paid. That is dedication and we know you want the
best for your child.

IMPORTANT:
In the previous letter we indicated that the school will be out at 12h00 from the 20th of October. After receiving the dates for exams from the district the school will be out at 12h00 from the 21st of October 2019. If your child uses own transport (taxi, after care or parent) make sure to inform them about the hours. We as school will not take any responsibility for any child after 12h00.
RENOVATIONS AT SCHOOL:
As you know we are busy with many renovations here at school. We will be demolishing some classes and therefore some of the classes will be using other rooms in the meantime. It is a huge project and we would like to accommodate all parties while the renovations take place. This project need to be completed before the school closes for this term.
REVAMPING OF GRADE R PLAY AREA:
We are also busy revamping the Grade R play area. Many new features will be added to their play area.
WHOLE SCHOOL EVALUATION:
Thank you for all parents that did send their survey forms back. We really appreciate the participation in this evaluation.
PRIZE GIVING CEREMONY:
This ceremony is by invitation only. All learners that must attend did receive invitations for their parent/s. It is of the utmost importance that you indicate whether you will attend or not, so that we can do the necessary arrangements at the hall. Learners got specific instructions how to dress. Please make sure that your child is dressed accordingly and that your child’s uniform is not too small for him/her.
The photographer Johan Spies will be at the ceremony to capture your memories of the day.
STATIONERY FOR 2020:
We urge you to buy stationery in time. Many times books are out of print or stock and then learners fall behind in home work due to the fact that they don’t have a text book.
We merely suggest that you can buy from the following suppliers, but you can buy from any supplier that will be stocking textbooks. Grade R to grade 3 stationery will be available at school. We will inform you as soon as the stock arrived.
Protea Bookshop, Church Street, 210 Du Toit Street Apollo Centre, shop 6.
Telephone: 012 320 0793
Email: agnes@proteabooks.com
Fruition Projects:
Email: Thabo Chabalala, fruitionprojects@icloud.com
These suppliers will be at school on 2 different days to sell text books to parents. We will inform you about the dates and times later during this term.
We don’t take any responsibility for these suppliers, we merely suggest that you can buy from them. Second hand books can be bought from previous years learners. That is a private deal between learners or parents and not the school. There are many other suppliers that also stock the stationery and books that you can make use of. We as school don’t take any responsibility for any textbooks outstanding from suppliers or money paid and books not received.
