NEWSLETTER 24 | TERM 3 – 2025

Good day to all parents

VACCINATION FOR RUBELLA VACCINE:

The department of Health will be visiting our school on the 15th of September.

South Africa has recently introduced a new Rubella vaccine which is combined with a measles vaccine.  All children between the ages of 1 year and 15 years have never received this Measles Rubella Vaccination and remain at risk of rubella viral infection.

All learners, grade R to 15 years will be vaccinated on the 15th of September.  All learners between these ages will receive a form in the next few days.  This form needs to be completed and sent back to school.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD IS AT SCHOOL ON THIS DAY.  They will only visit the school on this specific day, no other day.

RE-REGISTRATION FOR 2025:

We have started with re-registration for 2025.  Not all learners are automatically re-registered for the next academic year.   Make sure you complete the form and send it to school ASAP.  We are enrolling new learners and we are not keeping space after the due date for re-registration forms to be back.  For any queries, please send a mail to

DISCIPLINE:

More and more learners do pierce in ears and nose.  Please check school rules.  We will not tolerate learners who want to test the boundaries.  Please make sure your child obeys all rules.  We will be having regular inspections to make sure that learners are correctly dressed and their overall appearance will be according to the school rules.

BUSES:

Discipline in the bus is very important.  Learners who are fighting on the bus or shows ill discipline might be suspended or even expelled from using the free transport.  We will be having a zero tolerance for learners that will not obey the bus rules.
