SCHOOL FEES:
Please make sure that your account is up to date. If you have any queries about your account, send an email to fees@cvc.africa (grade R – 7) and hsfees@cvc.africa (grade 8 – 12).
It stays your responsibility to make sure that your account is correct. Check the statement every month to avoid any problems at the end of the year.
It is of utmost importance to use the correct family code when paying school fees. School fees are allocated to learner account according to family code. No family code no allocation. Wrong family code, wrong allocation. As per contract, interest is charged monthly on outstanding accounts.
Make sure that your child’s fee is up to date. Thank you very much to all the parents that promptly pay the school fees before or on the 3rd of each month. We really appreciate it.
REPORTS & PARENT DAYS:
Reports went out on Friday, 12 July 2024. Learners that failed the term or did not have satisfactory results, parents were invited to attend a meeting with the teacher to discuss the results and the way forward.
Thank you for the parents (invitation only) that made use of this opportunity to help the child and teacher in this regard. It is of the utmost importance that parents must stay involved so that learners can achieve the best possible results.
If you did not receive an invitation, but you would like to see a teacher, you are welcome to send an email/message to the HOD to arrange an appointment.
SCHOOL UNIFORM:
We know it is very cold now, but we do ask that learners don’t wear any other clothes except the school uniform. Regular inspections will be done at school to make sure learners are correctly dressed.
RE-REGISTRATION AND NEW REGISTRATIONS:
The re-registration process is completed now and we have started to enrol new learners in the spaces where learners gave notice or did not send back the re-registration form for 2025.
We do thank all the parents that did send back the forms on time. It really helped us to finalize everything quickly for 2025.
NEW SUBJECT FOR 2025:
We will be introducing Robotics as a subject from Grade R to Grade 9 as from 2025. We are very excited about it and hope and trust that the learners will enjoy the subject. More about this new subject later.
GENERAL:
It is almost the end of the year and learners need to be thoroughly prepared for the end of the year exams. Please make sure your child does his/her homework or study for tests. They must hand in the assignments on time. All learners receive a time table for tests, assignments etc for each term. Make sure you know when they need to hand in what and help them with it where possible.
Discipline is also very important and we will not tolerate any discipline problems from learners.
