VERY IMPORTANT:
If your child shows any flu symptoms please keep them at home until they are healthy again. DON’T send your child to school if they are ill.
SCHOOL ATTENDANCE:
We are so proud of our learners and parents. Our school attendance is very high, here are the statistics for you for term 2:

We are very proud of our grade 12 learners that had a 99% attendance since we re-opened for term 2. They are working very hard and the lockdown did not slow them down at all. Thank you to all the grade 12 learners, teachers and parents that took hands and make it worked through this difficult time.
STATIONERY FOR 2021:
Grade RR – Grade 3 stationery will be available at school. We will inform you about the prices per package and when it will be available.
Grade 4 – Grade 12: Protea Books will be stocking all our textbooks for 2021. We have not entered into any contract with them, and you can still buy with any other book supplier you know of or shop closest to you. We are in the final stages of finalizing the book lists for the new year. As soon as we have done it we will send it through to Protea Books and notify you.
You are more than welcome to buy second hand books as long as they are still prescribed for the following academic year.
SCHOOL UNIFORM:
From the 1st of September when the school re-opens for term 3, ALL LEARNERS will be wearing the correct uniform. No other jackets, beanies, or clothing will be allowed. Please make sure you purchase the correct uniform and that your child is dressed according to school rules. Learners with wrong uniform will be send home or parents will be contacted to bring the correct uniform to school asap. Make sure your child has the correct PT uniform, available at Silver Cross.
ART COMPETITION FOR GRADE 1 – 3 LEARNERS:
Grade 1 – 3 learners will be receiving an Art Competition letter today and tomorrow. “Decorate a paper mask”.
Closing date is 4 September, after the school re-opened again. They have the holiday to decorate the paper mask. Please read the flyer for more information.
