UMALUSI ACCREDITATION:
Charlton Vos College is once again ACCREDITED BY UMALUSI, Quality Council for General and Further Education and Training. We are very proud and always strive to do our best to form our learners to become role models in the world.
EXAM RULES:
Exam rules are given through every morning over the intercom and in the class by the teacher invigilating. No learner can have the excuse – they did not know. NO CELL PHONES with them, no smart watches etc.
We are now busy with exam. We do ask that parents help their children to study and make sure they know the work thoroughly. Learners must be confident when they enter the exam room and that will help them to do well.
SCHOOL FEES:
Please make sure that your account is up to date. If you have any queries about your account, send an email to fees@cvc.africa (grade R – 7) and hsfees@cvc.africa (grade 8 – 12).
It stays your responsibility to make sure that your account is correct. Check the statement every month to avoid any problems at the end of the year.
It is of utmost importance to use the correct family code when paying school fees. School fees are allocated to learner account according to family code. No family code no allocation. Wrong family code, wrong allocation. As per contract, interest is charged monthly on outstanding accounts.
RE-REGISTRATION FORMS FOR 2025:
All the re-registration forms must be in at the office. We are busy capturing all the re-registrations to be able to do the necessary planning for the next academic year.
All learners that did bring back the re-registration form, got their new contracts for 2025. Please complete it and send it back to school ASAP.
TEST/EXAMS
Exams starts on the 20th of May 2024. Make sure your child is ready and healthy to start. Let’s work hard. We are almost at the end of our term.
During the first weeks of the exam the school will be out at 13h00. A learner who is sick during exam must hand in a letter from a doctor.
Learners using own transport must arrange that they are fetch not later than 13h15. After 13h15 there will be no supervision for the learners.
When the school will be out at 12h00, learners need to be fetched at 12h15. After 12h15 there are no supervision for the learners.
WINTER UNIFORM:
All learners must be wearing the correct winter uniform now. They will be wearing it until 1 September when they will be wearing summer uniform again. Please make sure that your child is correctly dressed every day.
GRADE 8 CONCERT:
The grade 8 group will be having their concert on Saturday, 25 May 2024. We are looking forward to a spectacular show stopper of an event. Enjoy every moment!!
GRADE 1 OUTING:
The grade 1 learners had a wonderful “Under the Sea” VR show at school. Each of them enjoyed it and was fascinated by the world under the sea. Thank you for giving them the opportunity to enjoy such a beautiful event.
GRADE 2 OUTING:
The past Wednesday the grade 2 learners had the opportunity to enjoy their VR show – Safari. All grade 2’s was so amazed by die Safari trip. Thank you for granting them the opportunity to enjoy this learning experience show.
