Good day
SCHOOL FEES:
Please make sure that your account is up to date. All fees need to be paid by the 3rd of every month.

Learners with outstanding fees did receive letters with specific instructions. Please make sure that you adhere to these instructions.
UNIFORM:
We know it is getting cold, but learners must still wear the correct winter uniform every day. We are not going to allow learners with wrong uniform. These parents will be called to bring the correct uniform or to collect the learner from school. There are no excuses to wear the wrong uniform, we have mentioned it already in a few newsletters and also announced it to the learners many times. The black skinny pants that boys can wear is only available from Silver Cross. If boys don’t wear the correct skinny pants, they will have to wear the normal black school pants. We are not going to be lenient because it’s been a rule for long and in the diary.
Hair: Please read the diary and make sure that you obey the rule. No colouring, no coloured extensions. Hair longer that the shoulder must be fasten. No beads in the hair. Please read the diary where it is made very clear.
If you are not sure, it is clearly set out in the diary what the rules are for uniform etc.
We do ask that parents make sure their children are correctly dressed before leaving home in the morning. Learners must also be held accountable for wearing the wrong uniform, they know what is the correct uniform.
We have inspections at school on a regular basis so that we can uphold discipline and make sure all our learners will be an example to the outside world.
BUSES:
We are experiencing problems with learners on the buses. They don’t sit still and are disruptive on the bus. This creating a problem for the driver and the safety of learners on the bus. Please speak to your child about the safety on the bus. General respect for yourself and for other people and their belongings.
If you experience a problem on the bus, please contact the school. Send a mail to Mr Hanno Nel – discipling@cvc.africa or call the school.
NO PARENT IS ALLOWED ON THE BUS. Parents can’t reprimand any child on the bus. Rather report it to the school.
RE-REGISTRATION FOR 2025:
All learners did receive a re-registration form for 2025. Please be so kind and complete it then send it to school ASAP. We have changed our forms for 2025. Every learner will get a new contract that must be signed and completed in full. These contracts must be sent back to school. (All learners of one family comes on one contract)
A complete set of instructions will be sent with the form.
In the past we had certain items on the stationery list that had to be sent to school in the beginning of the year. 99% of parents did not send it. They only bought the textbooks and files, which became a problem during the year.
We have decided to take it off the stationery list, but instead every learner will pay an amount so that we can purchase the items. That is called the Resource fee. It is a once off fee for Copy paper, activity booklets, colour sheets, quizzes, exam, test and printing, etc. which every learner gets and uses. Most of the private schools are having a resource fee or similar fee for the exact same things.
We do ask that you send your re-registration form back ASAP. We don’t keep space and we don’t have many spaces left. Please encourage your learner to work hard and pass well at the end of the year. We don’t keep space for failing learners, because according to us all must pass at the end of the year.
Stationery lists will be finalized soon and then send to the parents. Grade R – 3 parents have the option to purchase it themselves or buy it from the school. An order form will be sent out to parents that would like to purchase the stationery for
Grade R – 3 from the school. The process will work exactly as the last time when you bought from the school.
