Good day

GRADE R COMPULSORY AS FROM JANUARY 2025:

As announced by the Education Department earlier grade R will now be compulsory for all learners.

Because the law has changed, make sure your child is enrolled for grade R.

OPEN DAY: 31 MAY 2025

We are getting ready to dish up the best ever open day.  CVC is inviting all new parents and learners to join us on the 31st of May 2025 for a time of your life.   Spread the word.

The OPEN DAY IS FOR ALL NEW LEARNERS.  Grade R to 9 for 2026.

DISCIPLINE:

We believe that all children need to behave and respect everyone around them.  That means that learners will not fight or swear at each other.  We are a Christian school with Christian principles.  We teach learners to obey rules and behave properly.  But the most import teaching comes from home.  Parents need to address the above mentioned at home.  Parents need to teach their children how to behave and to respect other people.  We here at school just enforce the morals and values, so that each child will become a model citizen of South Africa.

Parents need to talk to their children about bullying.  What is bullying and that it is not allowed at all.  At school we address it, but we need parents to help us to make sure that all learners know it is wrong and it can have severe consequences.  We have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY AT SCHOOL WHEN IT COMES TO DISCIPLINE.  Learners need to respect each other and their teachers at all times.  Learners need to show respect to their bus drivers and behave on the bus.

Times are changing very fast and our children are mimicking many people on tic toc and other social media platforms.  This mimicking gets them in trouble, as most of it is not socially acceptable and creates an embarrassment for the child and their parents.  Parents need to talk to the children and make sure they understand that it is not acceptable to behave inappropriately.  Each child must concentrate on him/herself and enjoy every moment of life in a respectable manner.
