NEWSLETTER 11 | TERM 2 – 2025

SCHOOL FEES:

We would like to remind you that your fees must be paid before or on the 3rd of each month (even during holidays).  Please make sure that your child’s account is up to date.  Accounts that are in arrears will be handed over and such a learner will receive a letter indicating that we will not be able to register this specific child for the next academic year.  All fees need to be up to date every month.

SCHOOL UNIFORM:
As you know, our learners can start wearing their WINTER UNIFORM as from the 1st of May every year.  All learners will be wearing winter uniform from 1st of May until the end of August.  We do ask that you make sure your child has the correct uniform for winter.
It is available at Silver Cross.  Make sure when you buy at another outfitter that they are selling you the correct uniform.  We deal directly with Silver Cross.

PARENT DAYS:

14 and 15 April was parents’ day for invited parents for Gr R – 12, thank you very much for the parents who attended these days.

Grade R – 3 will still be holding parents’ days until 25 April per invitation.

Parents who were not invited and feel they need to see a teacher can contact the teacher or school to arrange an appointment.

LATE COMING IN THE MORNING:

Learners coming late are now noted on a class list by security.  The second time the child comes late, they will receive a warning letter.  The third time they come late, the parents must take them home.  The bell rings 07h40 – Then all children must be inside.

LOST AND FOUND (CLOTHES ETC)

We have so many clothing pieces in our lost and found box.  We have washed all of it and put them in storage now.  We have announced regularly that learners must please come and take their clothing from the lost and found box.  Only a few learners did come to take jerseys, shirts etc.

Since the clothes are just lying in the office now, we have decided to put them up for sale.  It will be at a very small amount that learners and parents can now buy the lost and found clothing from the office.  All clothes will be washed and packed.  A price list will be made available with the items.

We cannot believe that so many learners just leave the expensive uniform on the playground or in class.  These items will be available to any parent of learner that needs a jersey etc.  Some of these clothing is brand new.  As soon as we are ready, we will send a message to all parents in connection with the lost and found shop.
