GRADE 12 PREPARATORY EXAMS:
The grade 12 learners are busy with their preparatory exams, and we would like you to take note of the following: If there is a strike or any form of transport problem, you will need to make alternative arrangements to get to school, because you can’t miss a paper. The school can’t be held responsible if the buses can’t get through due to strikes or any other form of disruption on the roads.
We are experiencing very high temperatures now, but still we have learners wearing winter clothes and beanies. All learners must wear summer uniform now and NO BEANIE!!!!!! Please explain to your child that when it is hot they must take off their jersey or jacket. This is beyond our control and we can just ask that you put in frozen water for your child.
WE REMIND PARENTS AND LEARNERS TO WEAR THE CORRECT SCHOOL CLOTHES – AVAILABLE AT SILVER CROSS.
INTERMEDIATE PHASE CAMPS: 18 September – 22 September
The intermediate phase learners are going on a camp during the above mentioned week. The camp will still go on. We just ask that if there will be a strike or disruption in areas and the bus can’t go through we do ask that you must just bring your child yourself to school to be able to get on the bus for the camp.
PRETORIA ART FESTIVAL:
Some of our kids took part in the Pretoria Art Festival and they did extremely well.
