NEWSLETTER 24 | TERM 3 – 2016

Good day,

Hope and trust that the week was full of wonderful things for you as a family.

The grade 12 learners have started with their prep exam on Tuesday 30 August.  We know that the teachers have equipped them with all the knowledge they need to do extremely well.  The ball is now in their court and they need to do the final preparations to do well.

Good luck to all the grade 12 learners, teachers and parents.

We are experiencing problems with learners in the afternoons who are making use of the bus transport.  When school is out, they are taken by the teacher to the bus, to make sure all are on the bus in time.  BUT some learners are going to the wrong bus to talk to friends or run around unnecessary before going to their own bus.  When the last whistle blow these learners are running next to the buses, and it is very unsafe.

Learners that are not in their buses when the last whistle blow, will have to phone their parents to come and fetch them from school.  We will not take any responsibility for this situation,  we have everything in place to  make sure that all are safe on the bus and leaving on time.

All learners need to obey the school rules.  We will not tolerate any problems anymore.  Learners that give discipline problems will be dealt with immediately.  We can’t have learners at school that are disruptive and disrespectful towards teachers and fellow learners.  Parents will be called to come and fetch the learner immediately.  We are here to teach and educate and we must think of the bigger picture that sits in front of us on a daily basis, therefore we don’t need disruptive and disrespectful learners at CVC.

We are a Christian based school with Christian based principles and therefore it is important that we strive to do what is expected from us as Christians.

Hope and trust that you will be having a wonderful weekend.

Yours sincerely,

Mr. JS Diedericks
