Our grade R Teachers focus on physical and mental development and incorporate interactive classes and activities to develop the necessary skills which form the foundation of their schooling Career. Our teachers are encouraged to assess learners and focus different key aspects of growth to ensure that learners are provided with the tools needed for the years to come.

Our foundation phase teachers strive to foster a passion for learning in the classroom. As learners discover who they are as individuals, we encourage them to embrace change and overcome challenges. We foster values and abilities such as accountability, communication, creativity, conflict resolution and responsibility. Our teachers are trained to detect problem areas with learners and work hand in hand with parents to assist the learner in their development.

As our learners develop, they move from the foundation phase to the intermediate phase. This new world may seem frightening initially but with the prospect of adolescence around the corner these learners will over the course of 4 years take the journey from childhood to adolescence with the guidance of our teachers and staff. With a new environment comes new responsibilities and learners begin to change classes and follow schedules throughout the day. Learners also begin to receive homework more frequently and have the addition of multiple subjects throughout the intermediate phase.
