Our discipline framework is based on our values of faith, excellence, respect, integrity, honesty, diligence, and loyalty.
We strive to develop an environment where our learners and staff are equally respected and protected through a system of carefully researched disciplinary measures which incorporate and enforce the fundamental concepts captured in the South African Constitution.
We believe that respect is the key to academic success, which means that we foster values such as respect for our peers, teachers, and our environment. It is these values which create a safe and fruitful learning environment in which learners can grow and thrive.
Each learner receives a diary at the beginning of the year, which explains to them what is expected at Charlton Vos College of Education.
Our Complete Code of Conduct for Learners does, however, give a more detailed description of policies and procedures that are followed by the staff here at our school, and parents are encouraged to familiarise themselves with these policies and procedures.
