NEWSLETTER 23 | TERM 3 – 2018

Good day

CELL PHONES:
No cell phone will be allowed in class or on the premises.  They have to obey the rules concerning cell phones.  Check the diary for more information.  We don’t take any responsibility for stolen or lot phones.

LATE COMERS AND LEARNERS STAYING LATE AFTER SCHOOL: (Learners not making use of buses)
Just a friendly reminder that all learners must be in time for school.  Late comers will be remaining in the waiting area until the end of the first period.  This is because they disturb the other learners that are in time and busy working already.

Learners can wait in the waiting area until 14h30.  There after we will be closing the waiting area and all learners still at school will be waiting outside the school premises without any supervision.  We will not be taking any responsibility after school is out.  It stays the responsibility of the parent to make sure your child is fetched from school when school is out and not when you come from your meeting.  The responsibility for their safety is yours, NOT the school’s.

OUTING OF GRADE 1 LEARNERS TO MYSTIC MONKEYS
It was such a lovely sunny day and the grade 1 learners enjoyed it very much.  Thank you to all the teachers that went with and helped with all the arrangements.

SORROW
It is with great sadness that we would like to share with you the following:

Teacher Daphney Rabie, grade 1A, son passed away on Monday.  We are thinking of the Rabie family in this time of sorrow.

Innocentia Kuku, one of our former learners also passed away on Wednesday.  She was an excellent student and such a pleasure to have in class.  She matriculated here at CVC and her son is now in grade 1 in CVC.

We pray that God will keep these families in His strong and healing hands.
