NEWSLETTER 16 | TERM 3 – 2018

Good day

It is the beginning of a new month and we all are starting to prepare for SPRING!

UNIFORM:
A friendly reminder that as from the 1st of September all learners must wear summer uniform.  Kids are growing so fast, we see that many learners have outgrown their pants and will need a new set of pants –  so please make sure that your child’s summer uniform is still fitting him/her.  If not remember to buy your new uniform from Silver Cross, Madelief Centre, Pretoria-North.

WAITING AREA (14H00 – 14H20)
As you know we have mentioned in the previous letters about the new waiting area for learners not making use of the bus transport after school.  It was completed on Monday 14th of May.  We have sent out several letters explaining the procedure about the waiting area.  No learner will be accommodated after 14h20 in the afternoon.  It stays the responsibility of the parent to inform the after care or taxi to pick the child up not later than 14h20 in the afternoon.  If the parents are picking up their kids themselves, please make sure you are here on time.  The security is not responsible for your child.

LATE COMING:  Learners that arrive late at school will have to wait in the waiting area until the bell rings for the end of the first period.  They are disturbing the other learners when coming into class when the teachers are already busy.  Please make sure that your child is on time for school.

THERE ARE STILL LEARNERS THAT IS AT SCHOOL WAITING FOR TRANSPORT UNTIL LATE – SUCH LEARNERS WILL HAVE NO SUPERVISION AFTER 14H20.

REGISTRATION FOR 2019:
All re-registration forms are finalized and there are some parents that did receive a letter about the cancellation of their child’s space.  If you didn’t submit your re-registration letter yet, please contact the office to find out if there are still space available.

Grade 7 and grade 9 learners’ parents did receive 2 letters about the re-registration of these to grades for the following year.

AUGUST MONTH is fundraising month:
There will be a JEANS AND SNEAKER DAY held on the 3rd of August.  Cost:  R5,00 per learner.  Learners must pay the R5 in with their register teacher.
