WEBSITE:
Charlton Vos College has a website and we regularly update the website. We do ask that you visit the website regularly to get the weekly letters. You can request that the weekly letter is emailed to you every week. We do not give hard copies of general letters to learners every week, it will only be available on the website. UNIFORM:
Please make sure that you child is wearing the correct uniform. It is available at Silver Cross, Madelief Centre, Pretoria-North. For PT – Physical Training – they have to wear the Vossie black short with the PT golf shirt. They are allowed to wear a black track suit pants, no printing on with the PT golf shirt. They are only allowed to wear the PT uniform when the teacher tells them they will be doing exercises outside.
When a learner is not dressed correctly, such learner’s parent will be contacted to bring the correct uniform. We will not tolerate any incorrect uniform.
SCHOOL PHOTO DAYS:

| 9 February 2017 | Grade 8 – Grade 12 |
Learners must be dressed according to school rules for the photo day.
Student council and junior leaders must have the correct uniform for the leader photo.
SCHOOL FEES:
February 2017’s school fees must be paid by the 3rd of February 2017. We do ask that you do so promptly to avoid cancellation. All learners did receive an account on Tuesday 23 January 2017.
LATE COMING:
There are still parents that drop their learners off late at school. Late comers are disturbing the class when coming into period 1 late. Therefore they will not be allowed to enter the class while the teachers are busy. They will go to class with the start of period 2.
School hours:
- Bell rings at 7h40, period starts at 7h45.
- When the first bell rings all learners need to be lined up in front of period 1 class.
BUSES:
Bus transport is a subcontracted free service. It is not compulsory for your child to make use of the bus transport, and therefore if it is going to be easier to transport your child yourself you are more than welcome to do so. We have set rules for the bus transport and you as parents and the learners need to respect it. For any problems contact Madibana. There are private transport also available (arrange yourself with these drivers) if you would like to rather make use of private transport.
All learners need to be fetched from school not later than 14h15. WE DON’T HAVE AN AFTERCARE AND THE SECURITY AND SCHOOL ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR CHILD AFTER 14H15.
BIRTHDAY OF LEARNERS AT SCHOOL:
Primary school learners may wear casual clothes on their birthday. If you are going to send party stuff to school, please send cupcakes and if you are providing cold drink remember to send disposable cups with. We don’t provide glasses for parties.
