Letter 22 – Term 3 – 2016

Good day,

This week was full of competitions and games, and our kids once again stood out.

We would like to welcome me. Minette Roos, grade 2D at Charlton Vos.  Hope and trust that it will be a very pleasant stay for you.

Teacher Monique Coetzer took Oratilwe Malele to Laerskool Roodekrans in Roodepoort to take part in the National Afrikaans Spelathon.  Oratilwe got a fourth place.  It is excellent.  We are so proud.

The U/15 and U/18’s played against Hoërskool Elandspoort on Friday.

U/15’s won 17 – 5 and U/18’s won 63 – 7.  Well done U/18’s.

Congratulations to these boys, U/15 and U/18, you played well and made us proud.

Thank you to Mr. Kilus Fourie and Mr. Pelser Prinsloo for your effort with the rugby.

On Friday, 3 August , Tomsin Biya, grade 6,  took part in the Poetry Competition at Laerskool Hermanstad.

He got an A.  Excellent, we are very proud.  Thank you Teacher Monique for the effort and help.

On the 3rd of August was also our Matric Farewell.  Parents and learners had some coffee and tea with snacks from 10h30 at Akasia Connect.  The buses left here at 12h00 and the grade 12 learner enjoy a wonderful day at Klein Kaap.  Thank you for all the parents that took the time to take photos with their child.  We really appreciate it very much that you took time and celebrate this wonderful event with us.

Thank you to all the teachers for all the meetings that you attend.  We know that the district doesn’t always send dates in advance so we can plan ahead.  Thank you for going on short notice.  We really appreciate it very much.

The stationery lists for 2017 will be posted on the website soon.  Please make sure that you buy ALL stationery in advance.  There are still learners today that don’t have text books.  It creates a huge problem for the learner when they need to do homework or study for a test / exam.

Hope and trust that you will be having a wonderful weekend.

Yours sincerely,

 Mr. JS Diedericks

Operational Principal
